What does it look like to be loved by our Almighty God? The sacrifice of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ is a story of forgiveness and salvation.

Sin separates us from God. We could never have a direct relationship with our Creator. Therefore, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to make atonement for our sins.

In fact, under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt for the remission of the due and merited punishment for sin (Hebrew 9:22.) As a result, all of us were made right with God through Jesus Christ. All are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is provided in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24 AMP).

Our Heavenly Father meets us where we are. In our brokenness. He’s the Light in all of the dark places. As a result, we all have the possibility to be made new, whole, and righteous through Jesus.  He’s our only Hope to survive the darkness in the world.

Esther’s Courage

In the Bible, Esther was a beautiful Jewish woman living in Persia. She became queen to the Persian King Ahasuerus. When one of the king’s men planned to annihilate all the Jews, Esther went to her king, in spite of the fact that she could have been killed for doing so. An audience with the king was by invitation only. But his love for his queen offered her the freedom to seek his presence. The king was attentive as he heard her request and consequently the Jewish people were saved from Haman who sought to annihilate them. Her appointed time had come to reveal the Jews as her people.

For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Est. 4:14 ESV)

First, I’d like to say that Esther is my middle birth name. Throughout my life I was clueless to the significance and impact this name would have. Second, the past two years this verse has resonated in my heart. I’d time and again come face to face with the ladder words, “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this.” Lastly, unbeknownst to me, this has been the Lord’s prompting in my heart to pen my memoir and blog for all the world to see His amazing love, mercy, and grace!

My hope is to be as courageous as Esther was, for His Kingdom, in Jesus Name!

You

Savage You, loving me recklessly.

From You, I receive unconditional love.

Faithful You, leaving the 99 for me.

Merciful You, always unfailing.

By You, I’m forgiven.

Because of You, I am given grace.

Risen You, daily awakes me.

In You, I found life.

With You, I’m never alone.

Through You, I am strengthened to weather the storms.

Forever You, nothing will separate us.

Loving You, deeper than the seas.

To You, I will worship.

Alongside You, I must forever stand!
